You can make an eBook available for pre-order up to 12 months in advance of your publication date. On the date you select to open pre-orders, your book will be available on bn.com for customers to begin ordering.
You can continue to make changes to your book during the pre-order period. If you need to change the list price of a pre-order you can do so. Customers will be charged the list price recorded at the time they pre-ordered the title.
We recommend that you upload your final cover image and interior no less than 72 hours before the publication date. On the publication date, the final manuscript gets delivered to customers and their pre-order will turn into a sale. Pre-orders will not be reflected as a sale on your dashboard until the publication date.
Once your publication date arrives, your book will automatically be available for immediate purchase. There is no need to manually publish the project.
