Once your Barnes & Noble Press vendor account is approved and active, the Taxpayer Type and the Taxpayer ID number (SSN or EIN) cannot be changed.
You are able to change the name and address, but we recommend that you only adjust the Taxpayer name if it has changed, such as due to marriage or legal name change. Please note that changing the taxpayer’s name and/or address would require that you submit a new W9.
To publish under a different Tax ID, you will need to create a new Barnes & Noble Press account under a different email address than the one associated with your existing account.
