We recommend that you consider the perceived value of your B&N Press eBook or Print Book to customers when setting your Retail (List) Price.
You can look at how other publishers are pricing their eBooks and Print Books of a similar format and genre to see what may be an appropriate price.
Note: Print books have a minimum Retail List Price based on the cost to print your book. The cost of creating a print book depends on several factors, including the format (hardcover or paperback), trim size, page count, and whether you are printing in black & white, standard color or premium color. These selections impact the price of printing your book. You can use our Quick Quote tool to get an accurate estimate of how much your book will cost to print.
You earn 55% of the Retail Price that you set, minus the per book printing cost. Currently, there are no discounts for bulk orders, but we hope to offer them in the future. Barnes & Noble.com collects tax in all states in accordance with applicable law. Sales tax charges are based on the shipment's destination state and municipal sales tax rates, and do not factor into your earnings from the sale.
We may update or alter the Royalty and Payment Terms at any time, and changes will be effective and binding within 30 thirty days from posting, as described in the B&N Press Terms & Conditions.
