Setting and Updating Your Print Book's Price
We recommend that you consider the perceived value of your B&N Press eBook or Print Book to customers when setting your Retail (List) Price.
You can look at how other publishers are pricing their eBooks and Print Books of a similar format and genre to see what may be an appropriate price.
You can update your print book's list price at any time, but price changes are only updated at the end of the week. Make any desired price updates before 11:59PM ET on Thursday to have the updated price reflected on bn.com Saturday of that week. Otherwise, the price will not update until the following week.
Note: Print books have a minimum Retail List Price based on the cost to print your book. The cost of creating a print book depends on several factors, including the format (hardcover or paperback), trim size, page count, and whether you are printing in black & white, standard color or premium color. These selections impact the price of printing your book. You can use our Quick Quote tool to get an accurate estimate of how much your book will cost to print.
